Comment: The only information on John Catesby Cocke in Virgil Lewis' "Abstracts of Revolutionary War Pension Applications" (p. 690) is that his pension application was dated May 21, 1838, that it was made in Culpeper Co., Va., and that he was a Captain in the Marine Corps.
Apr. 28, 1851 - "Both Catherine Tennison and Joshua Tennison had died by this date leaving a daughter Margaret A. Tennison who resides alternately in Fauquier and Loudoun Counties, a daughter who married Myers residing in Washington City and a son Tennison, now a lieutenant in the United States Navy."

Comment: Was dau. Margaret named for Joshua's sister?
