  Ann Fraser, research of this line states that this Joseph, son of Abraham IS NOT. the same Joseph that listed in the Elizabeth City County, VA where his brother Joshua moved to in 1797. In case additional information comes to light, the following is provided: 1820 Census of Hampton, Elizabeth City County VA. This census lists our family member [AH.1d] Joshua TENNIS. It also lists on same page (not in alpha order) a Joseph Tennis, one name away from Richard Tennis. (son of Joshua]. Several researchers state that this Joseph is probably the son of an elder Joseph TENNIS I( relationship unknown) n that area.
