      Know all men .. that we RICE HOE & FRANCES wife to Rice Hoe relict to Capt. JOHN WITHERS late of this county deced do release any claim unto that 400 acres of land that Capt. John Withers gave WILLIAM WITHERS commonly known by the name Hollowing Point together with all housing, edifices rights and title .. to William Withers .. to have received full satisfaction for the same by a note charged on Cohlo. GEORGE MASON for 500 pounds Tobacco which being paid we do own to be satisfaction for one third part of that land .. 20th September 1699.

      MARGARET LADY CULPEPER, THOMAS LORD FAIRFAX and KATHERINE his wife Proprietors of the Northern Neck of Virga. .. Whereas EDWARD PRESCOT of Stafford County deced seized of 150 acres of land lying in said county of Stafford and left no heirs nor disposed thereof by will ELIZA. BERNARD widow of NICHOLAS BERNARD presented the same to escheat .. Know ye therefore that we for the composition arrearages & annual rents hereafter received have granted Elizabeth Bernard all that parcel of land of sd and all title therein belonging by virtue of said escheat bounded .. abating southerly upon ye upper Machotick River easterly upon the land of PETER PHYPORD wch said land is half part of a patent granted to PALMER HINTON bearing date 28th day of October

      St. Marys County for divers good causes .. and for sum 10,000 pounds of good Tobo to me in hand paid or secured to be paid by THOMAS SIMMONS of Westmoreland County .. have sold 500 acres of land being part of a pattent of 1567 acres of land taken up by JOHN MATHEWS & granted to him by pattent bearing date 1669 & the 500 acres given by John Mathews to EVAN JONES by deed of gift bearing date 1681 & coveyed to RICHD. BRITWELL by deed bearing date 1681 & conveyed by Richard Britwell to JOHN GREEN by deed bearing date 1691 the 500 acres of land to begin at a marked gum and thence to run out in the woods according to the courses of the said pattent for breadth and length which 500 acres of land John Green doth warrant .. 19th day April 1706.
